My sister's place website by Moulaye.

I like to describe my sister's place. My Sisters' Place serves primarily women and children by providing housing, food, and other basic needs. Our facilities and services are located in Hartford's north end and the majority of our residents are from the Greater Hartford Connecticut area. However, we also accept referrals from across the country, depending on the situation. A large part of our success comes from the time, energy, and generosity of our supporters. Volunteers are always needed, as are donations.

If you would like to get involved, see our volunteer opportunities, browse our wish list, or pledge a donation. Anything you do is appreciated and will go directly to helping the people who need it most – those without a home.
Transitional Housing Program - Women and their children are able to stay in one of the 18 apartments in the building for up to two years.

Up to 18 women and over 30 children can be accommodated at a time. Case managers work with the women on issues such as employment, day care, life skills, education and financial assistance.
